Hi,

Does the PRU-ICSSG HSR, PRP, and PTP support is available in the latest SDK for AM6421 and AM6442 ? I have checked the 8_02 version document, but not able to find the relevant topic.

It is not supported in the MCU PLUS SDK 8.02. It is planned for MCU PLUS SDK release 8.4 in august.

Thanks for the update

When I checked the current MCU PLUS SDK, it is related to R5F core (for RTOS and no-RTOS). Will the new release be the offloaded - PRU-ICSSG based - version of HSR, PRP and PTP in Linux ?

Hi Chris,

The MCU PLUS SDK 8.4 release will have PRP support with PTP. So PRP and PTP drivers will be on R5F core and PRP firmware will be running on PRU ICSSG.(Note: Support for HSR is still in planning stage).

Will it be a 1G PRP or 100M? Do TI have a release plan for Linux driver (A53 core) regarding PRP + PTP + HSR?
