Hi experts,
Q:Do TMS320C5504 and TMS320C5505 have internal register's to determine the part number?
My customer is considering using the TMS320C5504 and TMS320C5505 on the same board. He originally used C5504 but will use C5505 depending on availability.
He believes that the D10, C11, B11, and A11 pins are processed differently and need to be separated by part number.
C5505: PGAIN[0-3] should be open for hardware and GPIO output in software.
C5504: RSV[6-9] should be open for hardware and unprocessed in software(access is prohibited because it is a Reserved area?)
If it is OK to operate SARGPOCTRL register in C5504 in the first place, there is no need to identify the part number from the register, though.
