AM625: customer board can not boot

Daniel, can you provide more details:

-do you have JTAG access to the board?

-Can you provide your BOOTMODE[15:0]  pin settings

-what is your boot source?  Based on what you wrote above, it appears to be SD Card.  If this is the case, you never see the MMC1_CLK toggle, from the moment of power up?

Daniel, so it seems something fundamental in wrong since it doesn't seem the device is even trying to boot.  Can you check to ensure the power sequencing defined in the datasheet section 7.10.2 is being followed on your board, including voltage levels, MCU_PORz timing, and oscillator startup?  All of these need to follow this diagram to ensure proper ROM execution.

Can you also connect JTAG and dump register 0x43000030 to see what is being latched as a bootmode?  Are you able to run GEL scripts on the device?

Most of the power is provided by the PMIC TPS6521903RHBR, until the MCU_PORz output should not be wrong, unless the power sequence error of the PMIC causes,
But PMIC errors cannot be corrected immediately.

-have you physically checked the signals and voltage levels on the board?

-can you provide the schematic portion associated with the SD card interface, including the IO power rails?

-are you able to connect CCS via JTAG?  And can you dump register  0x43000030?
