AMIC110: Question about AMIC110 CPSW

Part Number: AMIC110

Hi,

I have a question about the AMIC110 CPSW.

Q1.Do you have CPSW sample software for AMIC110?

Q2.Are there any restrictions on using the CPSW function of the AMIC110?
  I think the CPSW function of AMIC110 was disclosed about a year ago.
  Is it possible to use the CPSW function on AMIC110 devices purchased before that?

Best regards,
Eiji

  • Hello Eiji,

    Are you looking for RTOS or Linux based CPSW software?

    Thanks,

    Jianzhong

  • Hello Jianzhong,

    Thank you for your reply.

    > Are you looking for RTOS or Linux based CPSW software?

    ->I'm looking for RTOS version.

    Best regards,
    Eiji

  • Hi Eiji,

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Q1.Do you have CPSW sample software for AMIC110?

    Yes, the Processor SDK RTOS version has CPSW drivers as well as example code. Please follow this FAQ to create the sample projects.

    Q2.Are there any restrictions on using the CPSW function of the AMIC110?

    I believe the CPSW is the same across AM335x/AMIC110 devices, so the CPSW driver in the SDK should be applicable to all AMIC110 devices.

    Please also note that TI has stopped supporting TI-RTOS based SW development for AMIC110. Please refer to this announcement and find consolidated resources there.

    > Yes, the Processor SDK RTOS version has CPSW drivers as well as example code. Please follow this FAQ to create the sample projects.

    ->I was able to see environment "NIMU_BasicExample_evmAM335x_armExampleproject".
    Develop in this environment.

    > I believe the CPSW is the same across AM335x/AMIC110 devices, so the CPSW driver in the SDK should be applicable to all AMIC110 devices.

    ->I will check this matter as well.

    ->I understand.
    I hope no big problems occur...

    Thank you for your confirmation.

    Best regards,
