How to Build am335x pdk flash_writer

HI all.  I needed to add a new variant of the Winbond flash W25Q64 (the "I" variant).  I added the new entry to the table, but I cannot figure out the incantation to compile it.  I have tried everything I can think of.  Even a compile started at the top of the PDK does not compile it.  Can someone tell me the magic?

I have pdk_am335x_1_0_17

    Hello John,

    There is a Code Composer Studio (CCS) project for the flash writer, located at: pdk_am335x_1_0_17\packages\ti\starterware\tools\flash_writer\src\spi-flash-writer_AM335x\SPI_Flasher. You can import this project to CCS like below (make sure you don't click "Copy project into workspace".

    Then you should be able to build it from CCS.

    Well, I sure made that a lot harder than it was.  :)  Thanks.  Worked perfectly.

    Can you tell me how I could have figured that out on my own?  I would have expected that the tools directory would be build from the makefile as it's part of the necessary stuff to load and run an executable on the EVM.
