66K2H06 DSP uses Ethernet to communicate

Hi Rajarajan,

I am in the windows system.

i follow the instruction to generate projects. pdksetupenv.bat is ok

However, when i execute pdkProjectCreate.bat. it says the system cannot find patch specified.

what should I do to make it generates projects?

Hi Yao-Ting,

In the command prompt, give the commands as per the FAQ. In the path "C:\ti\pdk_k2hk_4_0_16\packages" give "pdksetupenv.bat" and then "pdkProjectCreate.bat K2H all little all all dsp "C:\ti\pdk_k2hk_4_0_16\packages"".

The PDK projects will be created inside the C:\ti\pdk_k2hk_4_0_16\packages folder.

And, Do not use the command "pdkProjectCreate.bat" without any arguments.

Hi Yao,

Have you installed the Code Composer studio? Once CCS was installed, open CCS and it will automatically detects the SDK installation and also updates the "Tools" from SDK.

After then, Try this commands. Project creation uses CCS to generate projects.

However, i cannot find it from pop down manual. which board, i should select?

Pre-requisite 

1. Install PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-K2HK  06_03_00_106 from https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/K2HK/latest/index_FDS.html
2. Install CCS 9.3 from CCSTUDIO_9.3.0.00012 | TI.com
3. Choose the installation directory as C:\ti

Follow the steps given here. Kindly install the same version mentioned in the link. I.e., CCS 9.3

and then post the screenshot of each step.

Hi Shankari,

here are my steps.

install PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-K2HK  06_03_00_106

install 9.3 CCS

use the default folder or default setting and products select 66Ak2x

open CCS 9.3 and let it updates.

set the environments

set pdkProjectsCreate.bat

there is no error, but it looks it doesn't generate projects in my computer.

Please try the following,

1. Install the K2HK RTOS SDK with following options enabled,

   1. 66AK2X Multicore DSP + ARM

   2. C6000 Power optimized DSP

   3. C64x Multicore DSP

   4. Enable Blackhawk debug probe

2. Before giving the commands on Command prompt, Please open the CCS and go to Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> Products and it will show like this,

3. Then give the commands to setup environment and project creation commands.

I install CCS 9.3

1. 66AK2X Multicore DSP + ARM

2. C6000 Power optimized DSP

3. C64x Multicore DSPthen during the installation

here is Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio ->products

and the result is still the same.

is it possible my PC already install CCS 11 before, that makes CCS 9 setting up environment wrong?

Thank you. After I uninstall CCS11 and reinstall PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-K2HK  06_03_00_106 and reinstall CCS 9.3, it works.
