TMS320C6678: NIMU_emacClientExample client not connecting to server

I am running the "NIMU_emacClientExample_EVMC6678C66BiosExampleProject" and getting to the point where the DHCP client is waiting to be discovered, but the server is not providing a DHCP offer. I'm using Wireshark to observe what is being sent out. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? Do I need to make changes to the client.c file?

I tried also tried changing the program from using a DHCP connection to a static IP connection, and the IP shows up on the console, but I can't get the demo website to open. I could use any help that I can get.

I tried this out on my work laptop and personal laptop and got the same results. I am using No Boot mode, and I even tried flipping the last switch off when I changed modes.

Hi Reinaldo,

I understand your issue in DHCP IP Setting. And, In Static IP, can you confirm that your PC and EVM has same IP series (192.168.1.X), same netmask(255.255.255.0) and same gateway (192.168.1.1).

Those initial questions that you asked about the static IP helped me dig in the right direction.

1. I ran the "ipconfig /all" command in the cmd prompt.

2. I found the connection that came up when the board was plugged in (in my case ethernet 3).

3. Plugged all that information into the "client.c", but changed the last value in "LocalIPAddr" to be 1 less than "Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address"

The program ran fine afterwards.
