There is no such plan for this feature in ethfw roadmap.

Can you let me know the specific requirements of the feature. As a switch network can have multiple other ports, there are multiple possibilities :

1. Get the collective status of rest of the ports. link up if all of them are up, link down if even one of them is down.
2. Get the status of a specific port amongst all the other switch ports.
3. Get status of all the other ports (multiple status). This wouldn't work with the standard linux networking architecture and you will have to develop your own software to query the statuses.

Even more possibilities are there. Can you let me know what you requirement might be.

Full integration with DSA would be the best solution. More tooling and infrastructure would then work out of the box on Linux.

Can you let me know which functionalities of DSA you might be interested in?

Currently in our architecture, the ethfw running on mcu2_0 core is working as a switch driver. Whats working on linux is just the virtual mac driver. We won't be able to integrate DSA support with the virtual MAC driver as it has a very limited set of functionalities currently.
