TMS320C6678: NAND BOOT ISSUE

Hi,

I am using TMS320C6678 EVM .I am testing the flash booting.Using NOR Writer and nand writer utility

I am able to boot the bin code using nor flash successfully.But if i try to use the nand flash nand writer utiltiy and following the same procedure and try to flash the bin file

i am getting ddr ok message only in the serial console and i am not seeing the codes output .The ddr ok message runs continuously when booting from nand .

Pls guide to boot the code using nand writer.

Yes, the same output I received as yours.

Meanwhile, Please do check the code, where the message is popping out the " ddr OK"...

Let me also do the same and get back.

The message, "ddr ok" comes from Nand4bitECC function in the code.

Probably, you can change the NAND memory and check...

I guess, this error is due to the bad blocks in NAND memory chip.

I mean to change the new NAND chip.

Or otherwise, verify the series of NAND blocks without any bad blocks and change the address in both the IBL code and " NAND_writerInput.txt --> Start address" and check again.
