Hi,
As per datasheet , TDA4VM will support eMMC HS200 and not HS400.
But when we probe the data and clock , it looks like HS400.
Steps followed are:
1. Data is copied from USB pen drive and written to eMMC.
But,Data is seen on the falling and raising edge of the clock(which happens in HS400). Please find the below image.
2. Data strobe also toggles with respect to clock.
Could you please confirm if TDA4VM supports HS400 and also provide your comment on the above observation.
Hello Asha,
Although HS400 specifically is not mentioned in the datasheet, the much more thorough and detailed TRM (found here) does go through the eMMC interface supported.
Best,
Kelvin
Hi Asha
TDA4VM does not support HS400 you can check in the errata document.

Hello Diwakar and Kevin,
As per the waveform attached in the First question, the data is toggling on both the rising and falling edge of the clock with the Current software of TDA4VM which looks like emmc is operating in HS400 mode. Can you please check on the waveform and confirm is our understanding is correct or not.
