Who is controlling CPSW5G? is it native linux driver or ethfw?

Hi Tanmay Patill, Currently we are using ethfw. I want to use native linux driver. But we heard that native linux driver not support Clause45 MDIO access.

Can you please share the following logs for further analysis.

In case of DHCP enabled, can you run Wireshark on PC #2, along with below commands.
# ethtool -t eth1 and collect ethfw logs on Debug terminal of ethfw.

In case of static IP.
1. Share ARP information at each interface after executing ping command using below.

# arp -i eth0 (for eth0, eth1, and br0)

2. Run ping from PC #1 to PC #2, and run tcpdump on eth1 interface at A72 and wireshark on PC #2.
3. Along with above run # ethtool -t eth1 and collect ethfw logs.

Can you assign MAC address of eth1 to br0, so that MAC address of br0 and eth1 were same.

Can you please confirm in this case whether IP allocated for PC#2 ?

ip maddr add FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF dev eth1

After ethfw and linux command, if the mac address of br0 and eth1 is the same, ip allocation is work.
