AM3357: CCS debugger shows ""execution state prevented access"

Hi Anshu,

I don't see any attachment but I did check similar threads and my understanding is that the issue is expected with XDS200 debugger but it should work with the USB560 debugger while core is running.

Here is a workaround using the UART of the XDS110. I would rather not go that route since I want to monitor many different variables.  Would you be able to confirm whether an automatic refresh of the variables in the expression window with a USB560 debugger is possible?  If not, what is the main reason for not supporting this feature?

You can use the DAP to access memory while the target is running.

Right-click in the Debug view and select "Show all cores" in the context menu.

Then under "Non Debuggable Devices", select the "CS_DAP_DebugSS"

From this context you can view memory (and have it auto-refresh) while the target is running

I can view and refresh memory browser but I cannot still see any variables in my Expression Window.  It shows as "identifier not found".  I can view memory at specific location under expression window but is it possible to see global or module level variables under CS_DAP_DebugSS core.
