TDA4VH-Q1: Does TDA4VH support 2-rank, 2-channel, 2-die LPDDR4 SDRAM (MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:B)

We will use the new LPDDR4: MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:B, in the new design of TDA4VH or DRA829J,

This LPDDR4 is 2-Die, 2-Channel, 2-Rank architecture, does TDA4VH or DRA829J support MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:B.

According to Jacinto 7 LPDDR4 Board Design and Layout Guidelines,

the 2-Die, 2-Channel, 2-Rank combination does not appear in the list of supported LPDDR4 SDRAM combinations.

Can you help confirm if the TDA4VH or DRA829J supports MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:B?

    Hi,

    Yes, TDA4VH or DRA829 should support a 2 channel / 2 rank x16 mode LPDDR4 memory which only has 2 die. While we have not built a board with this exact specific memory, there is no known reason why it would not work.
