Hi Yang,
Apologies for not understanding, but I would like some clarification on your query.
Are you asking for the patches in the FAQ to be ported over to 8.6 SDK version? Or are you seeing an issue when applying the patches to 8.6 SDK?
If you are seeing an issue after applying patches, then could you share boot log messages?
Regards,
Takuma
Hi Yang,
I can try to port over the patch. However, it will take me a while. I can get back to you in one week at the max.
Regards,
Takuma
Hi Yang,
If you had applied the patch by hand and saw some serdes error in dmesg, I found recently that there is an extra device tree change that needs to be added for selecting the internel clk.
With below changes, I was able to get 8.0 SDK working, but still having some trouble with 8.6 SDK.

To verify if you are also seeing the same issues as me, could you post logs from dmesg?
Regards,
Takuma
Hi Yang,
I resolved the issues I was having with 8.6 SDK and updated the FAQ with new patches. Please try out the new changes and let me know if there are further issues:
Regards,
Takuma
Fixed the patch, a 100M clock can be output, but the amplitude is only 240mV.
Here is the startup log:

Hi Yang,
From the dmesg logs, it looks like PCIe is up:
[ 3.346727] j721e-pcie 2900000.pcie: Link up
And based on the class code, it looks like some sort of ethernet controller is connected.
However, is the device still not coming up under "/usr/sbin/lspci"?
Regards,
Takuma
