All power pins are required to be powered, regardless if the peripherals are used or not. VDDS_DDR_C1 requires to be power, even if only using one DDR interface.
Hello Robert Eschler,
I need confirm because TDA4AL doesn't have DDR1 module.
Are J12 (VDDS_DDR_C1) or J14(VDDA_0P8_PLL_DDR1) still needing be supplied? They both seems belonging to DDR1 module.
Thanks a lot.
There might be some confusion in the parts being discussed. The E2E thread identifies part number TDA4AL-Q1 - which has two LPDDR4 interfaces.
Hello Robert Eschler,
Currently I found all datasheet/specification show the TDA4AL-Q1 only support 1 LPDDR4.
Only the TDA4VE support 2 LPDDR4.
Please help double check.
Thanks a lot.
Ok - I understand now. I was referencing the super-set part number (TDA4VE). As I previously stated, all power pins require proper voltage levels be supplied. Even though the TDA4AL part does NOT support 2nd LPDDR4 interface, it does still support J12 (VDDS_DDR_C1) and J14(VDDA_0P8_PLL_DDR1) power pins. You should connect with the other LPDDR4 power pins.
