Dear Ti Team:
I have current design upgrade project need to launch, our current design is platform is DM3730CBPA, but the pop LPDDR is going to EOL and without alternative part,
So, we need to evaluate DM3730CUSA (without pop process), I found a question:
1. if we use eMCP (one chip integrate LPDDR and Nand flash), we found the eMCP still may EOL in the next years;
2. if we use LPDDR(only mobile LPDDR) , we want to confirm the minimum system as belowing diagram is ok to boot up and operate, nor flash as the bootup flash, without nand bootup

Not sure what link you are referring to?
I have reached out to the expert for their input which will be posted here.

hi PaulM:
Is there any feedback about the nor flash boot up solution, if we have not nand flash,
sysboot config setup ,or any circuit need to design to set Nor flash as primary boot up device. thanks
hi James:
thanks ,should I connect CS0 to CS2(which CS2 to the Nor flash CS control)
also My nor flash is noly 32MB capa, so does it meet the nor flash boot up requirements,
hi James:
thanks, For my schematic use the norflash ,which mode should I chose?
My nor flash use latch to extend the address, part number is MT28EW256ABA1LPC-0SIT , 32MB ,
You have the flexibility to choose either. The Micron device you quote would not work, since it has separate addr/data bus signals. As the TRM states, you need to chose a device with multiplexed addr/data bus

James
