Hi,

I have a few questions about the AM62A series

1. Does Ti's Mcal support nor and nand flash drivers?

2. Does AM62A support nor flash startup? If yes, can you provide a reference example?

Please find the details of the devices and flashes supported by the MCAL FLS driver -

Unfortunately, the FLS MCAL driver is not available for AM62A. The customer can port it from AM62x or AM62P to the AM62A device with minimal changes, but the driver will have to be owned by the customer.

On AM62x and AM62P, the "FLS driver uses OSPI, XSPI, and QSPI protocol modes and supports the three NOR Flash devices (MT35XU512ABA1G12, S28HS512T, and MT25QU512ABB)".
Adding NAND flash support will require modifications to the driver by the customer, as detailed in the above section.

Hello Adam,

- There are discussions ongoing to include NAND FLS driver support in MCAL for AM62A, but the timelines are currently around 1H of next year.
