TDA4VM: NO source available for main()

Hello,

I want to debug a code from the vision_apps directory on the R5F CPU. The code is builded and I load the out file vx_app_rtos_linux_mcu1_0.out and it works perfectly, but the debugger throws this message:

No source available for "main() at C:\ti\ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-09_00_01_01\vision_apps\out\J721E\R5F\FREERTOS\release\vx_app_rtos_linux_mcu1_0.out:{3} 0xa014cfe0{4}"

Can anybody help with this problem.

Hi,

I believe you would have to point the CCS to the source code of the main function here.

It is in vision_apps/platform/j721e/rtos/mcu1_0/main.c

I have pointed to this file location, but still doesn't loads when I am debugging.

The above is built for release. There are chances that the code is optimized here. Can you build for debug profile and check the same?

Hi,

In the mean time I figured out that wrong build profile was set. It was by default release.

My problem is a little more difficult, because I am building under linux, and I am debugging under windows at the moment. The transition between the two operation system should be handled appropriately.

But yes, after setting the build profile from release to debug, everything works fine.
