Hello TI,

I am using Debian_bookwarm_preemt_rt real time kernel,

i want implement my entire application in the A53(Linux) where it can use a gpio(main & mcu domain),Inter process communication(IPC) and Software Diagnostic library.Can you guide me to implement this above mentioned things in linux?

currently i am running linux_rpmesg example by copying the binary files into linux file system from ccs, created a symlink and restart i can able to led indication(as per my code).But how can i see the print statements in the linux ?

Open SysConfig project settings

go to “TI DRIVER PORTING LAYER” > Debug Log and enable “Enable Memory Log”.

save config and rebuild the binaries. Now print statements should go to the Linux trace log in addition to any UART terminals that are enabled in the remote core project

From Linux, check the trace log with

# cat /sys/kernel/debug/remoteproc/remoteprocX/trace0

For debugging the remote core project, I would do this:

Rebuild the ipc_rpmsg_echo_linux example in the MCU+ SDK at

examples/drivers/ipc/ipc_rpmsg_echo_linux

Copy your new binaries to the filesystem, and boot them as described in the first section

In CCS, “load symbols” to allow CCS to connect to the running MCU+ SDK cores. The steps are similar to here, but you do NOT want to restart the CPU or Load a program. Instead, do Load > Load Symbols and point to the project that was used to generate the binary file:
