in customer real car,

occasionally the picture shown on screen has white spot on the screen, and can not recover automatically

only power cycle can recover from such phenomenon，

Semon,

First thing to check is that they are on the latest graphics drivers for SDK 8.x.

But before we go there, are there any logs captured? There could be GPU hardware recoveries in the console, indicating there was an issue in the system. Can you share anything about the console logs when this occurs?

could you help check this case, customer already upload the log,

customer executes power on/power off operation in turn, when power up, sytem will run AVA/AVM application， the application will use two modules in GPU: avm and psd.

It sounds like the GPU drivers were updated, but you are seeing two issues:

1) White Spot Issue

2) Screen Tearing Issue

Is this summary correct? This way I can keep the topics separate.

If the white spot issue is separate, can you please point out in the picture the white spots that should not be there? It looks like the car model has some black spots, red spots and white spots around it, is this the case? And the logs you are sharing here happen when you see these spots around the car?

Also, just to be clear, the white spot issue also happens in all cars, or just one car? This would be helpful to understand if this is affecting all units or only one unit.

Ok, so your GPU drivers are updated per the FAQ on TDA4VM, and they are working correctly as per the other E2E post. The tearing still occurs and so do the white spots, is this a good summary?

We need to make sure we are using the latest GPU driver and patches so we can start working from a known good state for the investigation.

Yes, the white spot problem did not reappear after the update, no PHR will have tears, with PHR currently in testing.

This is good news, so the white spot problem from this post has not re-appeared since the testing, so this particular ticket is on standby until it is reproduced. Let me know as soon as you get more results from testing.
