A ready RDK(McFW) example or in near future release?

I use the RDK 01.01.00.04 with TI816x EVM board (DDR2/DDR3).

I don't see any function doing "file based read/write raw frame YUV data" in this package.

Can TI provide this kind of function under McFW？

Or it would be in near future release? When?

Should we do it from modifying the "file based bitstream in/out on A8" function？

    Hi,

    We have already made a release ver 01.01.01.05 which has support for bitstream being available on A8 and filesystem.

    We are working on addiing feature for getting YUV data on filesystem, which is planned for a release on Nov 15th. Can you explain the usecase for which you might be using it?

    As for getting YUV data on filesystem,

    we have some specific YUV patterns to test the SNR performance of encoder.
