Hi All,
Currently, the response time of interrupts varies from 0.25ns to 2us.
Response time: Time from external interrupt (GPIO pin) input to start of interrupt routine.
We expect an immediate response from an external interrupt input, but sometimes there is a delay of up to 2 us (1800 cycles).
What is the cause of the variation in response time and how can it be improved?
Device: TMS320C6657
Operating frequency: 900MHz
External interrupt input: GPIO13
Application software and variables are operated by L2SRAM inside the DSP.
L1D/L1P is set to 32kB cache.
