Hello,

I'm interested to know how to disable LPSC gates and unused PLLs. It's very clear how to do this using the Clock Tree Tool. However, I cannot determine how to bring the sysconfig changes that show up in CTT into my project sysconfig. I attempted to use a text editor outside of CCS, but that failed with errors.

The Clock Tree Tool (CTT) is a visualization tool for the device clock tree. There are not currently any output files that can be imported directly into software, or a way to use CTT with SysConfig on CCS.

Thanks, Tushar. It was because of Megan's comment in the end of that thread indicating TI's intent to provide this functionality that I posted this question. Her comment is almost one year old. I take it no forward progress has been made.

Does the AM64 architecture permit me to manually change any of the registers concealed behind the DMSC? I know there is some risk to that but I need to quickly determine ways to reduce AM64 power. The TISClient API does not have sufficient examples for me to do that without lots of trial and error.

You need to use the TISCI calls to configure the registers that are behind the DMSC. Direct modification to those register are not allowed.
