AM6442: How to use FSI to achieve realible communication？

Hi Zekun, yes, there is a handshake mechanism, let me come back to you on that. But, in the meantime few questions.

1) How are you connecting the boards? which configuration? how many?

3) clock frequency? Half-duplex, full duplex? 

2) Is customer using a direct connection between them? or are they using some HW in between for isolation (ex: FSI Adapter Board User’s Guide (ti.com)). If no, how far are the boards connected (cable length)?

"Generally, it is best to use a twisted pair or shielded wire per line for board-to-board connections, while on board FSI signal trace lengths should match and have special care taken in the layout to enhance noise immunity"
