Tool/software:

We have determined the maximum power consumption provided for the PEST tool spreadsheet for AM62A7 but the calculated power and current do not match the pdf for the power required for Soc here available on pdf  www.ti.com/.../sprada7.pdf

Please provide details to calculate the maximum and nominal power required for SoC Am62A7
calculated sheet is given below.

    Hello,

    The power estimation tool linked is for our AM625/AM623/AM620 devices. AM62A7 will have a different power estimation tool which is currently undergoing rework before being returned to ti.com.

    It is not expected for Power Estimation Tool estimates to match those in the Max Current Ratings app note. The PET is intended to give an estimate for average power and is suitable for power estimates and thermal design. The max current rating app note is intended to document the maximum current that could be seen on the documented rails and is better suited for power supply sizing.
