AM623: SD card boot failure on custom board

Hi,

My customer reported SD card boot failure on their custom board using AM623.
The board was designed based on SK-AM62-LP board and software is Linux SDK9.02.01.10.

At SD card boot, below error log is generated.

U-Boot SPL 2021.01 (Nov 15 2024 - 13:20:44 +0900)
SYSFW ABI: 3.1 (firmware rev 0x0009 '9.2.8--v09.02.08 (Kool Koala)')
SPL initial stack usage: 13424 bytes
Trying to boot from MMC2
ti_sci system-controller@44043000: Message not acknowledgedAuthentication failed!


The issue happens 100% for the custom boards.
UART boot works fine.

What is potential cause of such failure?
I found below E2E post, but my customer uses kernel and TI-FW from same SDK version.
