Hi experts,

We are trying setup AUDIO-AM62D-EVM on CCS(version:12.8.1.00005) by referring to the link below.

AM62D FreeRTOS SDK: Download, Install and Setup CCS

We are having trouble because item "AM62D_AUDIO_EVM" doesn't appear in the drop-down list on "Board or Device".

Please tell me how to display "AM62D_AUDIO_EVM" according to the manual.

Hi,

You will need to apply patch for AM62Dx device in the CCS for the device to appear in the list.

To apply the patch, please refer faq-am62a7-import-sdk-examples-solving-the-am62ax-recognition-issue-in-ccs.

Patch - AM62DxCSP.zip

The above FAQ links is about AM62A device but same method will work for AM62D device also.

By the way, we want to get "AM62D FreeRTOS SDK 10.01.00"

I tried to load the example projects included in the SDK (10.00.00) for the AM62D-EVM using CCS 12.7.0, but I encountered this error and couldn't load them. The patch for using the AM62D that you introduced earlier has already been applied.

Could you please help me load the example projects?

Hi,

Apologies for the above link, it's an internal link.

Please follow the below steps.

Please update the id field of ${MCU+SDK}\am62dx\.metadata\.tirex\package.tirex.json file with below code.

"id": "com.ti.MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM62DX",

Please refer below image.

Save the file and re-import the project.

Hi,

I copied the line from the ID field you sent me, but there doesn't seem to be any spaces.
I also tried adding spaces, but it didn't improve anything.

Hi,

Thanks for the confirmation. You don't need to add any extra space just copying the value shared earlier would work.

Have you tried re-importing the project?

Also try importing another project?

If you still face issues, try once after restarting the CCS.

Also try once refreshing the installer in the CCS window. In CCS navigate to Windows -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> Products -> Refresh.

Hi,

I was able to load the project in the "Update" step.
Thank you.

But I can't run "Clean Project" and "Build Project". It requires Sysconfig 1.20.999 or higher, but it is not available so I am using 1.22.0 because this is the version that is compatible with AM62D.

Could you please help me resolve this error.

Please modify the @cliargs of the example.syscfg file with the below arguments.

 * @cliArgs --device "AM62Dx" --part "AM62D24-G" --package "ANF" --context "c75ss0-0" --product "MCU_PLUS_SDK_AM62Dx@10.00.00"
 * @v2CliArgs --device "AM62D-Q1" --package "FCBGA (ANF)" --variant "AM62D22-G" --context "c75ss0-0" --product "MCU_PLUS_SDK_AM62Dx@10.00.00"
 * @versions {"tool":"1.22.0+3893"}

After making the above change save the file. Now you will be able to build the example.

I applied the above changes to example.syscfg in my project and tried to reload the project, but now I can't load it.

Is there any other solution?

Is the example already imported in the workspace folder?

Please check the workspace directory in file explorer.
