AM625: Converting LVDS Display Output to RGB for AM625 SBC

Part Number: AM625
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90CF384, DS90CF384A

Tool/software:

I recently purchased an SBC board based on the AM625 processor (www.ti.com/.../AM625, which provides display output in LVDS format. However, I do not have an LVDS display.

I want to design a custom PCB to convert the LVDS signal to RGB format so that it can interface with a standard RGB display. For this, I plan to use the DS90CF384 CONVERTER THAT CONVERTS LVDS-to-RGB.

Is it possible to achieve this conversion? If so, how should I design the connections between the SBC board, DS90CF384 converter, and the RGB display? Additionally, are there any important considerations regarding signal integrity and power requirements?

I would appreciate any guidance or reference designs for this implementation.

Thanks in advance!

hints: if I use MICRO TIPS USA 13-101HIEBCAF0-S RGB Display

Thanks!
