TDA4VEN-Q1: RGBIR sensor PCID Tunning on SDK version 10.00.00.05

Part Number: TDA4VEN-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello Team,

I want to convert an RGB-IR sensor color pattern to a Bayer RAW image (RGGB format) using PCID tuning in the DCC tool. For this, I followed the references below.

TDA4VEN-Q1: PCID tuning - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums

TDA4VEN-Q1: RGBIR sensor tuning using DCC tool - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums

I am using the TDA4VEN board and Linux SDK version 10.00.00.05.

original checkerboard image

captured using the AR0823 RGB-IR sensor with 12- bit linear mode

After applying PCID tuning bayer output as shown below

the colors from the color checkerboard are not accurate.

I referred to the document mentioned below - specifically, Section 7.5 on page 19, Figure 7-8: RAW Image Input to PCID.

www.ti.com/.../sprad86

According to this section, after proper PCID correction, the original colors should be visible.

I used the following parameters to tune the PCID.

Ran default single cam app for capturing images using AR0823 sensor

please guide me,

How to get correct colors after PCID tuning?

Thank you,

Vaishnavi
