Hello Team,

I want to convert an RGB-IR sensor color pattern to a Bayer RAW image (RGGB format) using PCID tuning in the DCC tool. For this, I followed the references below.

I am using the TDA4VEN board and Linux SDK version 10.00.00.05.

After applying PCID tuning bayer output as shown below

the colors from the color checkerboard are not accurate.

I referred to the document mentioned below - specifically, Section 7.5 on page 19, Figure 7-8: RAW Image Input to PCID.

According to this section, after proper PCID correction, the original colors should be visible.

I used the following parameters to tune the PCID.

This should be fine in general.

Could you please share a sample raw image from the sensor?

Did you try the python tool with X5B as an example?

It should give you proper VISS/PCID settings as default.

Is GRIrG the correct color format?

→ Yes, color format is GRIrG, with the default PCID settings we are able to get colors, but the image appears too green.

How can we reduce the green tint or green noise using the default PCID variables?

Also, do we have a dedicated PCID calibration document?

The DCC PCID document does not contain a detailed description.

Let me first check your raw image to see if anything went wrong.
Typically, it should just work without any color tint.

I am not aware of any other PCID document available other than plugin guide.
PCID information is supposed to be available in TDA4VEN TRM (VPAC-VISS section), but I am not sure if the TRM has been updated properly to include that yet.

Even after zipping with 7Z, the raw image size is still large. That's why I shared it with Almonte, Daviel via email. Could you please check with him?

How large is the 7z file?
I just need one raw image as you showed above.

I suppose we shall be able to upload files at least 10~20MB.
What is the limitation you see?

Hi Gang,

The file uploads up to 96% but fails to complete afterward.

I tried to share from insert ->imag/video -> uploading file

is there any other option to share the file?

I don't find anything wrong with the raw image or tuning tool.

The plugin output raw image looks ok to me although I did not move the raw input image to 16-bit for PCID to match H/W.

This is the GRBG output image from PCID plugin under the ".plugoutdir/DC_PCID_SIM/" folder.

On the PCID output, we performed AWB tuning and observed the greenish effect in the images collected in low light and has shadow.

I don't see anything could go green in the above shared raw image.
