Tool/software:

I have successfully install CCS 20.1.1 on my Macbook Pro (Arm based M1). I can run the CCS program, browse support and academy smoothly, and import a demo for 280049. But I cannot connect my 280049C launch board with my macbook through usb-c. The error information is shown below:

May I ask if there's any instruction notes for developer starting to use Macbook Pro, especially arm based model?

  • And I can confirm that the XDS110 is connected and recognized by macOS:

And there's no any virtual machine such as Parallels Desktop is running.

  • Of course there's a usb hub connected to my Macbook Pro, but XDS110 is recognized:

  • RookieP,

I am able to use my F280049C LaunchPad with CCSv20 on my Arm-based macbook ok.  My target configuration has a serial number set for the XDS110 so you will need to adjust that value to match yours

Give this one a try and see if it works for you.

I don't have my board with me today so I can't confirm that your jumpers are correct.  I can take a look at that tomorrow.  The other potential issue is that hub.  For Hubs I always use a powered USB-Hub, or I use a single adapter to convert to usb-C.
