TMS320C6748: What is the difference between the Standard Edition and the Basic Secure Boot Edition?

Tool/software:

Hi All,

・The difference between the standard version and the Basic Secure Boot version is the following two points.
If there are any other differences, please let us know.

(i) In Basic Secure Boot compliant products, the binary encrypted by the tool is stored in flash.
(ii) To connect to JTAG, it is necessary to unlock the lock in the device.

・Is the JTAG lock set in the System TAP Enable Register and does it need to be set each time the device is booted?

・Debugging by writing the program from JTAG with an infinite loop in the BOOT program for initialisation of the /RAM / internal PLLs. (GEL files are not used).
In this case, if System TAP Enable Register is set in the BOOT program, is it possible to debug by writing a programme from JTAG as in the normal version?

・In the Basic Secure Boot version, is the encryption key different for all devices?

Best Regards,

Ito
