Please see the Documentation for the examples available in the SDK, that is the extent of the examples we have. Custom examples are not part of the standard support, which for this SDK, the standard support is expired.

I was able to compile and build the custom example. My current board is running Linux version 4.19.94-gbe5389fd85:

root@am57xx-evm:/lib/modules# uname -r
4.19.94-gbe5389fd85 

However, the Linux and RTOS SDK I compiled is based on version 5.10.100, so the cmem.ko module is not compatible with my board's kernel.

How should I proceed from here? Is there a way to install a cmem.ko module that supports my current kernel version? I would like to avoid reinstalling the entire SDK with a lower version, if possible.

Since the cmem.ko file was not compatible with my board's kernel, I downgraded both the Linux and RTOS SDKs to versions that support my board's Linux version. I have now installed SDK Linux v6.03 and SDK RTOS v6.03.

I was able to successfully compile ipc_bios. However, when I run make ti-ipc-linux, I get the following error:

Error: TI_RTOS_PATH () does not contain
the corresponding Processor SDK RTOS release!

Please install Processor SDK RTOS live for am57xx-evm.
Makefile:795: recipe for target 'ti-ipc-rtos-path-check' failed
make: *** [ti-ipc-rtos-path-check] Error 1

I'm not sure why this is failing, as I have installed the correct RTOS SDK version.

Yes, this last post is the way to go. Mix and Match of SDKs is not supported by TI.

I am able to compile and able to create app_host and server_dsp1.xe66
but i am facing an issue while running in the target board

CMEM is no longer supported in newer SDKs and the SDK version you are using is in as-is state with regards with support.

Support from us will be minimal. That being said, please look at existing threads with similar errors for clues:

I can try to give it a whirl at some point, but I will not have time for at least two weeks approximately. I have a business trip to go on this Friday and I will be gone for at least a week.

Please look into previous questions and responses. It is very likely that someone solved this already given that the SDK release you are using is from 2020-21.
