We need to interface the video output of an AM62A with a semtech GS2962 serializer. The serializer needs 10 bit RGB data, and uses HSYNC and VSYNC.
Unfortunately, the AM62A is only able to supply BT656 with embedded syncs, and I am looking for a chip that can convert BT656 with embedded syncs to BT656 with discrete syncs. It would have to take the lines from the Video Out on the AM62A, pass the video data through to the GS2962, and generate the HSYNC/VSYNC/DE etc from the lines coming from the AM62A.

The GS2962 also supports embedded syncs, but needs TRS-ID (4 byte preamble + 1 byte sync status) instead of the SAV/EAV (3 byte preamble with 1 byte sync status) that is used in BT656 with embedded syncs.

I am not aware of any IC that supports the above mentioned requirements that we have reviewed or tested.

I am checking with the display expert and is likely going to take some tome to reply.

The GS2962 supports embedded syncs, so this is no longer relevant.
