If you used Balena Etcher to flash the WIC image to the SD card, please check the instruction linked below.

I have made sure all steps were followed and there is still no HDMI or serial console output.

Please open 4 terminals and each opens one of the UART ports on the EVM USB connector to see if any of the 4 UART ports prints any message after power on the EVM.

Hi, I have tried all 4 COM ports and still no output on the terminals after power on the EVM. I am using tisdk-default-image-am62pxx-evm-11.00.09.04.rootfs default image from PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM62P.

Is the exact filename "tisdk-default-image-am62pxx-evm-11.00.09.04.rootfs.wic.xz" that you flashed to the sdcard?

Please change the EVM bootmode switches to the UART boot mode as shown in the picture, then power on the EVM, to see if there is any output on the COM port.

The exact file name flashed is "tisdk-default-image-am62pxx-evm-11.00.09.04.rootfs.wic" Did the .xz compressed folder need to be flashed or just the .wic image need to be flashed?

I changed the bootmode to UART and I was able to see some output on the terminal below.

Okay, it seems the UART boot works fine, so the board is not damaged and the power supply seems to be okay.

The original .wic.xz file can be directly flashed to the sdcard. If you use the Balena tool to flash the image, please check the 2nd link I provided above and ensure you use an older version of the tool. The new version has an issue in flashing.

Is there an issue with using just the .wic file? I used the dd command on linux to flash the SD card.

I never used the dd command to flash the image, I don't know if it works or not.

If you use a Linux PC, please use bmaptool to flash the wic image:

$ sudo bmaptool copy --nobmap tisdk-default-image-am62pxx-evm-11.00.09.04.rootfs.wic.xz /dev/<the-sdcard-node>

Hi, I tried both using the bmaptool command and the dd command for the .wic.xz file and there is still no output through HDMI or serial console. These are the files within the SD card after flashing through bmaptool. 

Please check the picture in the link below and ensure you have set the boot mode switches correctly for sdcard boot mode.
