To my knowledge, there is currently no new fix for this issue, it appears that on AM64x SKEVM, the ethernet backup boot option is limited to the fact that there is no link-info bit option for ethernet back-up boot (link-info option is only available when Ethernet is primary boot). MDIO scan with Ethernet boot is for some reason not working and unfortunately the priority in looking into a root cause for this issue was lowered since the last communication on the other thread.
