Tool/software:
Hi Support Team,
My customer is using MT29F4G08ABAFAH4-IT:F on a board with AM3352.
Here's the datasheet.
m70a_4gb_3v_it_parallel_nand.pdf
Am I correct in thinking that in this case, this NAND is capable of up to 16-bit ECC correction
because of its large page size (4096 + 256 bytes)?
I understand that this is not a problem because there is a thread on the following site
that says that the ROM can be successfully activated when using BCH16 without any problem
with the equivalent product in a different package, and the TI representative has also posted
that this is the correct scheme.
AM3352: Boot issue with NAND ECC - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums
If the above understanding is correct, can we ignore the discrepancy
in the description of the TRM manufacturer code, which is also pointed out in the above thread?
Please let me check just to be sure.
Best Regards,
Kanae
