TMS320C6657: CCSTUDIO THEIA - Support for C6000 DSPs

Dear TI,

is it planned to support C6418/C6410 or C6657 or 66AK2G12 in the Theia based CCS?

I found a thread with age of 1 year:

Is it already integrated? Are there still plans?

We want to use CSS for debugging of these DSPs. Currently we have use the Eclipse based CCS.

Hi Bernhard,

CCS Theia does provide basic build and debug support for C66x devices. However, the New Project Wizard in CCS Theia relies on content from Resource Explorer, so if an SDK or device is not listed there, then the experience is not as good. The C6416/C6410/C6657 are supported with basic project creation and debugging in CCS Theia. But there is no support for 66AK2G12.

For full-featured C66x development, especially when using devices with SDK support, CCS Eclipse is the recommended environment.
