AM625: Offline Yocto build Issue

Part Number: AM625

Dear Expert

Sorry, I am not very familiar w/ Yocto build, so I post customer's question directlly.

I got build errors. Please see the description shown below:

  1. I could build successfully with enabling network according to the guidance from TI official website. (This case would download from repositories on various websites)
  2. I ran into a build fail with offline Yocto build. Here is what I did for an offline Yocto build.

B.1 I created a local repository in our Gitlab server.

B.2 To push the following directories to our Gitlab, which had been obtained in the successful one mentioned above A:

“sources”, “downloads”, “sstate-cache”

B.3 To verify if offline Yocto build was successful, I turned off the network, including Wi-Fi and Wired connection.

The result ended up with build errors.

Here are the build errors I encountered:

The following is the build command I have been using:

$ MACINE=am62xx-evm bitbake -k tisdk-default-image

In addition, I googled the solution for the build errors, finding the discussion shown below.

However, it didn’t give a total solution.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1318189/sk-am62p-lp-failed-to-build-the-sdk-with-yocto-in-offline-environment

I pasted the setting for build/conf/local.conf, for your information.

Thanks.

    Many Thanks,  Ares

    His studying as below.

    Thank you for your information.
After adopting the following solutions, I could run an offline yocto build on our machine.
    	After setting BB_NUMBER_THREADS = “4”, the issue vuldan-cts could be fixed.
	After downloading websocketd by manual, the issue could be fixed.

BTW, I pasted the references here which I referred to on the TI E2E forum, for your information.
