AM6442: NAND memory through GPMC - bad blocks management

Part Number: AM6442

Hi,

When using a NAND memory through the GPMC controller, what happens if bad blocks are located in the first sectors 0x0 :

  • Does boot fails or is there a backup boot mode (located at another address) ?
  • Can the boot ROM detect bad blocks by reading the OOB ? How ?

Thank you,

Geoffrey
