AM62L: Security advanced documentation

Part Number: AM62L

Is Ssecurity advanced documentation provided for AM62L?

I can find links to request it on the product pages for AM64 and AM62, but I cannot find it for AM62L.

Best regards,

Daisuke

  • Hello Daisuke-san
Looks like I missed responding to this email.

For now please continue to use the AM62 documentation as the base reference. We are making updates to the security manual to add few more specifics/deltas for AM62L, but this will take a few months.
This in general should not impact any development as the AM62 documentation and AM62L Linux SDK documentation on security should be sufficient for customers to make progress.

If you have any specific issues or concerns please let us knwo.

    Regards

  • Hi Mukul-san,

    Thank you for your reply.

Our customer is considering an SoC to be used for liquid-cooling control for AI cloud servers, and Sitara (AM64, AM62, AM62L, etc.) has been raised as a candidate. However, it is not clear whether Sitara can meet requirements in OCP.

It is mentioned here that Sitara does not meet some of the security requirements in OCP.

I understand that because TI does not have products that meet the security requirements in OCP, an external device that satisfies the security requirements in OCP (for example, Microchip CEC1736) is required.

    Best regards,

    Daisuke
