AM620-Q1: AM620-Q1 Unused interface termination

Hi TI Team,

We are doing the Custmize design with AM620-Q1 processor.

For our Application we are not using the following interface like JTAG , MCU Section- I2C) , EMU0 , EMU1 and GPMC0 section.

attached datasheet snap for the same.

Let us know , how we can terminate this all the signals?

Can we left unconnected this signals? or tell us the approprite termination way.

Can you confirm if this is a initial board or updates to the boarfd

JTAG , EMU0 , EMU1

The recommendation is to provide TPs and pullups for the JTAG and EMU signals for initial boards for debug.

Hello Shubham,

MCU Section- I2C

The MCU_I2C0 is open drain output type I2C interface.

A pullup is recommended irrespective of the IO usage or configuration.

Add pullups even when the I2C interface is not used.

Hello Shubham,

The GPMC0 you showed above as part of the pin connectivity requirements are used for boot.

The recommendation is to provide provision for a pull for all the 16 bootmode inputs.

You mean is this custmization is initial board design ?

and

JTAG , EMU0 and EMU1 interface is not even using for initial phase or updates to the board.

So , what will be the pin configuration for this signals?

Are the boards that are being built the first set of protos (initial prototype for testing) or the board has already been built/tested and board being built is a production version.

It is strongly recommended that you provide TP provision for JTAG interface signals and UART0 interface signals for initial boards

The bootmode configuration provision should also support configuring the debug bootmodes.
