CCSTUDIO: The Managed Make project file could not be written

I try to use Code Composer Studio Version: 4.2.4.00033, that I just installed on another PC (Windows 7), because the old PC on which it was working just crashes. I have to add new include paths to my project, because they are now different. I get following error:

The .cdtbuild file seems normal, I can edit it. Do you have an idea?

I have switched off the antivirus to do the installation, otherwise I had troubles.

but as you can see, my Workspace is in C:\Users\..., and my install directory is C:\Texas Instruments\...

On the former PC (now crashed), the install directory was C:\Program Files\, that is my I have to change the paths (but it worked well before).

I might have solved this issue by telling Windows that the file is not hidden (under Windows Explorer, properties). But I am not quite sure.

Yes, I can now add the new paths, this issue is solved, thank you Ki .

That package is not from my group so I don't have much expertise on it. I will see if there are any device experts that have more knowledge. Note that you are using very old versions of tools, packages, etc so support is limited.
