AM3505 interface to Micron PSRAM issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3505

Hi,

We are trying to interface an AM3505 to the PSRAM using CS1 pin. Unfortunately when i look at the data sheet of the PSRAM they say that ADV is an active low but my ADV line seem to be always low.

There was a similar post to this on http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/sitara_arm174_microprocessors/f/416/t/152096.aspx when they say to set the DEVICETYPE to NAND and ADV shall be an active high, whereas for NOR ADV shall be an active low. Unfortunately this does not work for me, i still get ADV as low during an ideal state for NOR devices, but my CS,OE, WE all work as active low (which means they work fine). We are trying to use the PSRAM in asynchronous mode.

Is there any way to make the ADV line an active low? Is there a setting that i seem to miss. Please suggest.... Please let me know if you want more info regarding this issue...

Thanking you in advance....
