modify BOOTTP payload in an Ethernet Ready Announcement Frame

Dear Experts,

I'm running a secondary bootloader system on an C6670 DSP..

Now I would like signalize if the first stage bootloader was successfully initalized or not.

As I saw in the sprugy5b.pdf in chapter 3.3.2 Ethernet-Ready Announcement Format the Vendor info contains all zeros.

My questions now are:

  •  Will there be a possibility to modify those zeros to have a status bit for the success of the first bootloader?
  • If not can be the Filename or the Server hostname be modified?
  • In which memoryarea can i find those values?
