Connect Leopardboard DM365 to an LCD panel

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75LVDS83B, TPS61042

Hello,

My goal is to connect the Leopardboard DM365 to an LCD panel and I am having trouble understanding the hardware requirements for the LED backlight system.

Some specs on the LCD panel:

Model: LP156WH4-TLN2

Color depth: 18 bit

Signal Interface: LVDS (1 ch, 6-bit)

Lamp Type: WLED

I have attached the full datasheet for reference.

To connect to the LVDS interface I am using the SN75LVDS83B with the following configuration:

The module connector on the back of the LCD panel includes backlight connection pins, namely PWM, LED_EN, and VLED.

Is it possible to connect the PWM and LED_EN directly from the DM365 and a 12V signal to VLED?

If so, which pins do PWM and LED_EN connect to?

If not, can you please point me in the right direction? Would I need to include additional LED drivers?

Attached is the schematic for the Leopardboard 365 for your reference.

I sincerely appreciate your help,

Chris
