Hi Rajasekaran,

When I'm running 6713SDKDiag.exe to check my 6713 DSK boards, I get a error message "USB diagnostic fail" like below picture,

Please tell me how to solve that problem???

As your information, I'm used notebook Asus A42F series with Win7 64-bit OS.

Hi Taufiqqurrachman,

• Make sure to close the CCS before executing the diagnostic suite.
• It could be that there is some process of CCS still running, even when you think it has shut down. 
• This is especially true with CCSv3 and earlier. Try closing the CCS processes in task manager or simply reboot your PC and try again.

Are you running 6713 DSK CCStudio 3 or Higher version of CCS?

Diagnostic application should work with the DSK version of Code composer studio.

Suggestion:

Please run the 6713 diagnostics application in CCS 3 or DSK CCStudio 3 installed machine.

I'm running 6713 DSK use CCStudio v5 because if i use CCStudio v3 in Win7-64 bit then it is not working. So, I'm installing CCStudio v5 in my laptop.

Can the 6713 diagnostics application or DSK CCStudio v3 was running in Win7-64bit?

How if we are using CCStudio v5 to develop program for 6713 DSK as example to make a blink LED at 6713 DSK?

Please give me your suggestion.

Win7-64bit support was not available in CCS v3.

CCSv5 supports the on-board USB of the 6713DSK. You do not need any extra drivers. Select "Spectrum Digital DSK-EVM-eZdsp onboard USB Emulator" as your connection type and "DSK6713" as your device.

I'm already trying the 6713 DSK Diagnostics at winXP SP2 using virtual machines software like VMWare and the 6713 DSK Diagnostics says pass. But I still trying to use CCStudio v5.0 as your suggestion. And I curious about it.
