[DM8127]system time jumps forward suddenly

Dear Champs,

My customer is debugging their DM8127 board hang issue and found system time jumps to about 2 min forward suddenly. While they debug this issue, they found similiar issue in e2e forum in below, but there was no answer yet.

And I found many discussions in below as well.

And I found below patches for system clock.

http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/arch/arm/mach-omap2?id=971d0254480572bc6dc5574c28ef8fe014660a31

Can these patches be applied to DM8127?

They are using DM8127 IPNC RDK SW v3.0 and PSP version is psp04.01.00.02,

Thanks and Best  Regards,

SI.
