AM335x can't read u-boot.img with DDR3 (H5TQ4G63MFR)

Dear Sir,

My code setting as 303MHz & 400MHz, all can't work on my design board, but they can work on AM335x Starter Kit.

Set as 400MHz hold before "reading u-boot.img"; set as 303MHz hold on "reading u-boot.img".

But I change to set as 200MHz, it can work through u-boot to kernel & some driver work. But hold on other error.

I'd reference 2287.DDR3.xls from Biser Gatchev-XID and seeting as his suggestion value.

First of all you have to tune the DDR settings for your board. These two articles show how to do it:

8306.AM335x DDR Trace Length.xls

From the data you have sent it looks like your DDR3 memory will have to be rerouted. I am attaching only the DDR3 trace information from the trace report:

1. Address/Control net class: there is more than 300mils mismatch between traces (should be <25mils).

2. DQ0 net class: there is more than 170mils mismatch between traces (should be <25mils). Trace length should be 1590 +/- 12.5mils. DQS0 to DQSN0 skew is 7mils, should be <5mils.

2. DQ1 net class: there is more than 90mils mismatch between traces (should be <25mils). Trace length should be 1237 +/- 12.5mils. DQS1 to DQSN1 skew is 31mils, should be <5mils.

I suggest you read carefully the AM335X Datasheet, Rev.F, section 5.6.2.3. There is nothing more I can do to help at this moment.

Dear Sir, Thanks for your help...

But we still need your best help:

1. In addition to PCB layout issue, how to setting the DDR parameters?? (we will re-layout it, make a new version)

2. Base on this version, Would you help to discussion these parameters for us to boot up. (at 303MHz)

We have schedule issue, we need porting android system running on the board ASAP.

Now can work at 200MHz, but it's too slow for something test.

As I already told you I doubt that the board will work reliably even at 303MHz.
