Can i Switch back to EZSDK from IPNC RDK?

Hi TI ,

I am using dm812x customized board, where in am using AR0330 sensor with CSi2 interface which is properly working with IPNC 3.5 provided by TI .

I have validated few of my drivers in ezsdk, which i dont want to migrate from ezsdk to ipnc for certain reasons.

Can i bring all iss/ sensor /isif . etc (related to CSi2 spec) segments in IPNC RDK to ezsdk ?

If yes, what all things i need to follow and how risky is that ?IS it possible is the main qstn ?.

please comment on this ASAP...

Hi Shakti,

I am not familiar with IPNC RDK, I am working on EZSDK. EZSDK does not provide you free access to the M3 firmware (HDVPSS-M3 and HDVICP2-M3), this firmware is provided as a black box.Thus if you need to modify the M3 source code, with EZSDK this would be not possible.

I will also notify the IPNC team for help.

Hello,

Regarding EZSDK the HDVPSS source code is under NDA and you should contact your local FAE for information. EZSDK provides only the binaries for the HDVPSS and HDVICP.

I do not think there are any dependencies between HDVPSS-M3 and HDVICP2-M3 on ISS. My previous post was just for information what will be restricted in the EZSDK. If you do not need to modify the M3 source code, then you should not be worry about this restriction.

Hi,

ISS driver is not available in EZSDK. So I don't think you'll be able to use the CSI2 interface for sensor using EZSDK.

Hi,

RidgeRun was able to integrate the ISS driver into the M3 binaries used on the EZSDK so you can use it from V4L2 and then from gstreamer, you can read more information about it here:
