Hi,

         our board is   based on OMAP-L138_C6748 LC DEV KIT VER  A6A   board schematic with DSP + ARM OmapL138 processor, this board is working fine but for future product design, we plan to use AM1808 processor in OMAP-L138_C6748 LC DEV KIT VER  A6A   board design because those two processor are same pin to pin compatibility and also we evaluate this OMAP board .

                     so pls clarify me this two board have any internal  hardware variation because our design based on OMAP LCDK Kit Ver A6A  and also this AM1808 doesn't have DSP section.

    Hi Vinoth,

    You are right, AM1808 have the entire peripheral feature supported by OMAP-L138 expect the DSP engine.

    Yes vinoth, you can use AM1808 processor in board design because this two processors are compatible, there is not any internal hardware difference other than DSP section.
